MM02Towing

Towing for every size of vehicle

Every tow starts with matching the truck to the load. A low sports car, a box truck and a loaded tractor-trailer each need different equipment and a crew that has rigged them before. These are the towing services D&J runs day and night.

Broken down, wrecked or not safe to drive, any hour of any day, holidays included. AAA members are served too.

MM03Recovery

Recovery comes before the tow

Some vehicles can't simply be hooked up and pulled away. They are in a ditch, down an embankment, on their side in the trees or bogged down on a job site. Recovery is the work of getting them back to a spot where a tow can start. On foothill roads in snow and ice, slide-offs and wrecks are common, and our crews plan each pull before they rig it.

"We were in an accident on a snowy and icy I-70. Jean the dispatcher and Joe the truck driver were excellent. They both were so accommodating and eased the stress of a traumatic situation! They gave us great advice and great service!"

MM04Roadside and hauling

Fixes on the spot, and moves you can plan

Not every call ends with a vehicle on a truck. A dead battery, a flat or a locked door can often be handled where you are, and a machine that has to change job sites can be booked ahead.

If a roadside fix does not get you moving, the same dispatch line sends a tow.

Road

Roadside assistance

Jump starts, roadside battery replacement and flat tire changes, including big tires on lifted trucks.

Lock

Vehicle lockout service

Keys locked inside at a trailhead, a ski lot or the grocery store. If a child or pet is shut in the vehicle, call 911 first.

Haul

Heavy equipment hauling

Excavators and other heavy machines moved between job sites on mountain roads, with loading and offloading handled, in Colorado and southeastern Wyoming.

MM05How we work

How a D&J call works

D&J Towing is a family-owned company that has worked out of Evergreen since 1984. Every call starts the same way: a person at dispatch asks what you are driving, where it is and what happened, then sends the truck and crew that fit the job.

In Colorado we cover Evergreen and the foothill towns within about 50 miles, along I-70, US 285, CO 74 and CO 119. In Wyoming the focus is heavy-duty towing, recovery and hauling around Wheatland and the I-25 corridor.
